From reading over at FM.net all VIP's got a second E21 and LaFerrari for some reason. I'm just hoping the patch comes out soon as I have been holding off playing Forza. BTW the link for redeeming a car for the LE owners is up too. Can pick one car from the list.
Rivals drag can be some fun, and it's quite quick! Fun to do a lotta builds, so that might get expensive.
Yeah. Rivals was great to rack up credits before. Not sure how it will work this time in FM5. Perhaps much better after the new patch comes live. I know they are adjusting the car price, I wonder if any adjustment to parts will occur (highly doubtful) but as long as the credits come a bit easier and in larger lumps, then it will be OK I think.
I have a tad over 5 mil credits that I am sitting on waiting for the patch to see what all the adjustments will bring. I did stock up on some decent cars during the fire sale but they won't do crap for drag so there will be a ton of cars I need for that. But I am sure it will be a bit of fun to play with.
I have hardly done any multiplayer so far after trying it the first few nights. So I have made it my goal to learn to tune. So instead of just randomly grabbing a car and tunning without purpose I have picked the C class time trail at Bernese Alps. Been working with the Miata so far and just want to see how much of an improvment I can accomplish.
I picked up the James Hunt McLaren as well. No just waiting for the price drops to see how much Nikki Lauda's car is going to cost.
It drives awesome, but it lacks the whine of the Lauda Ferrari. I guess I should get that too, once I get an IndyCar.

I turned on my Xbox One this morning and it had already downloaded most of the update on its own. It downloaded a little bit more and then I was able to get in. The most noticeable change was the car prices have been significantly reduced. I was able to get an IndyCar for 1,300,000 credits, which is down from the price of 3,000,000 credits before the update. I did a quick race at Indy and absolutely loved it. Turn 10 has done an excellent job with the addition of open wheel cars. I have not tried all of them, including the F1, classic F1, IndyCar and the KTM Xbow and they all drive and look wonderful.

I redeemed my reward this morning and got the 1976 McLaren F1 car. How could I not love that car after seeing James Hunt drive it to victory in Rush?
Once the prices drop, I will have enough credits to buy an IndyCar.
I got the second E21 F1 and LaFerrari cars. I wish we could sell them back to the game since I have no need for two of them.
The Mazda 787 is one of my favorite cars in sim racing. It was an early purchase for me when they had the sale in early December.

It was a Marlboro car. I bet it has to do with some countries now have laws agains advertising tobacco and I bet they changed it for that reason.

Can't advertise tobacco. That practice was banned world wide several years ago. Sort of why NASCAR is no longer the "Winston Cup".
