Wow. I dunno....maybe I should pick up the LCE event though it might be a few months until I get an XBox One.

At the 2:30 ish mark you can see the helo flying over the track and balloons being released from the grandstand. There is another video somewhere I will try to find that shows it too.
I know what you mean Oldschool, but those things probably don't take up many resources. I think graphically its a piece of cake for this new machine. It will look nice in a replay.
Anybody know how many racers we can get in a lobby in FM5 yet? Anyone have a guess? I say 24.
I'm kinda on the same thought as Oldschool, instead of having ballons and camera flashes and helos I would rather the focus be on how many cars you can have on track. F1 2012 has camera flashes in the crownd and the sorts and it really doesn't add anything to the game when I'm playing.
More cars, better cars, more series cars, more cars in the same series, more race options, better search criteria, aero repair, tire wear independent, pit choices in the pit, or even before you enter, I don't care, reverse any track, more tracks, more variation on existing tracks for all I care.
The ability to actually paint a car while someone else online can actually watch while I do it and ask questions, or make comments on what they'd like...I'm vaguely hopeful skype MIGHT be able to accomplish this, somehow?
I don't need boobs in the stands, balloons in the air and grass that's not too shiny...well, boobs might be ok...
I'm waiting for Snappy and others that I know are going to be FM5 day one'rs to answer some questions about the game when it comes out and that will dictate my urgency to get it. Honestly though the more I see the more I like.
Maybe the new system can be a christmas gift to the family. I should probably read up about other functions of the xbox to help sell the idea to the Mrs. (Having just bought the 360 last christmas $500 for a new one only a year later could be a tough sell)
Did anyone notice that next to the tach on the screen there are symbols for the tires and they are labeled "Heat". I fear that they just added that to the HUD so players don't have to scroll through the telemetry screens but it would be nice if it were a sign that tire wear is adjustable. Again though, I doubt it.

None of that's relevant when you're running 185 down the straight. It's nice IF you look at a replay, but that's it.
I see it as taking away from the resources to compute physics data, BUT maybe we have enough now with the new system...maybe.

We need more stuff going out side of the car, More People, pit crews, safety cars, camera guys, fans, car staff etc etc
To me it all adds the the immersion.
Then I race with a pad.
But yeah the new box should piss all of this

The bar look a little lower after one lap i think on the right?
