I'm not at home so I can't confrim this but from what I'm reading over at FM.net it appears a Forza patch and DLC was loaded early this morning. The cars owned icon now displays in the buying cars section correctly. Badges appear to be unlocking correctly now too.
A huge suprise is that the next DLC appears to have been release with an added bonuse. All DLC cars are free the first time you purchase them. So once you buy and download the DLC you can then go into buy cars and pick up that DLC car for free.
It would also appear that someone at T10 might have hit the wrong button in releasing this early as I think this was suppose to be the April car pack. Everyone who has updated reports that they can no longer get into multiplayer races. So I expect T10 will have something probably in the next few days.
Looking forward to getting home now and getting a crapload of cars.

Yes, at last, the garage symbol is there now if you own the car. Why they didnt put that there in the first place i will never know.
There are a big bunch of cars that are free so fill your boots and grab them. Bit pissed off as the Mazda 787 is one of the free cars but i brought this for 1.2 million credits the other week *facepalm*

Yea I'm really glad that unlike Forza 4 where credits flowed freely I have really only bought the cars I absolutely needed in Forza 5. I think I saw someone post at FM.net that there is around 75 cars for free now if you have the VIP/DLC/ etc car packs.
Thats all i have done is only brought the cars i needed for the career. You get a bunch of cars free with the VIP so used them for a while
This is an awesome move by Turn 10. They know that this is exactly how their competition, GT, handles DLC cars. No more buying cars twice. I never understood the logic of that and I am glad to see them change their policy. I will be buying the newest DLC and collecting my cars as soon as my 8:30pm iRacing Global Challenge race is over. Nice way to start the weekend!!!!

Having a garage icon while buying cars is a huge deal and I downloaded a shit ton of free cars...took almost an hour to get em all and should take several days to get them tuned up. That new Chaparral car is a weird looking vehicle...it almost looks like a bumper car.
I downloaded the update over the weekend and started "buying" my "free" cars from the 5 DLC packs. Very cool.
At this point, I have no complaints about Forza 5. It is my second favorite sim, next only to iRacing.
