CoD: Ghosts
Anyone pick it up?
I'm making the switch from primarily playing CoD on the 360 to the PS3/4. I'm going to take advantage of the $10 digital upgrade offer when I get my PS4 so I picked it up yesterday from the PSN.
That being said, if anyone is planning on doing the same thing and has it for the PS3 then let's hook up and play. I'd like to rank up a little and unlock some weapons before the PS4 release.

Wow. What a shae... I did like the fact that the video ad an advertisement for Ghosts LOL.
This might just be me but it looks just like any other run and gun game.
That's a shame but luckily I haven't come across that. Hopefully they're just having their fun and get over it quickly and/or IW gets their shit together.
Is having dedicated servers on the PS4/Xbone version going to prevent the hacking?
It won't prevent it. It never has in the PC world. All of these are client-side mods. It just a matter of how long it can go undetected.
At least (hopefully) the Xbone and PS4 will have hack-free lobbies/games for a while.

Playing the COD games online on the PC, I came across the most cheating I have seen in gaming. It was horrible. Aimbots galore. And Nix, aside from the first Modern Warfare and World at War, the COD games use listen(p2p) servers on the PC.
I'm picking this up for the PS4. In fact, it should be delivered on Thursday according to Amazon. Looking Forward to playing with everyone.
I got my PS4 version today.
I wasn't going to get it, but if you all are going to play it regularly I might. That will make three shooters since I'm more stoked for BF4 and Killzone.
I picked it up yesterday and forgot how much I suck at it. Curious to see how much the graphics and performance improve when I make the jump to the PS4 next week. If anyone needs a bullet sponge or a human shield hit me up. I am also picking up Killzone and BF4 for the PS4.

I created a clan called Beast Masters. My 360 CoD crew is switching over to the PS4 so we're migrating over to the PS with the same clan name.
If no one can find the admin(s) to the 2o2r clans on Elite, feel free to let me know if you want to join our crew.

Cerb from ARXV is trying to get an all 2o2p clan. The cool thing is it doesnt matter what console you play on, all stats go to the clan (including clan battles). That would be cool if that goes through. Im currently in 202S on elite but many of them are getting xbone.
Been watching the thread. Think most are on xbox so that doesn't interest me much. I have set up a 2old2resist clan on Ghost and if no one shows interest I'll jump on with naf in OSK.

it would have migrated over if we would have reserved the name a couple weeks back. Since we didn't the new version opened up the clan names. I think I have 2old2resist but want play with it a bit tonight and see. If I do maybe start a stick with the clan name?

Anyone else experiencing lag issues on the PS4? COD:G is unplayable for me. There doesn't seem to be an issue moving around the map, but shots fired don't register at all. I can't pick up dog tags in Kill Confirmed matches either.
Haven't seen that at all. We played in a party for a couple of hours last night and everything was smooth.
After reading your post this morning I played a match of KC and it was good. Haven't really noticed any lag in the other games. Maybe a little in Killzone but that's it.
Interesting. It must have something to do with when I'm playing. There was only 6,000 players online so I may just be getting shitty hosts.
I just picked up COD Ghosts for PS4 also. I wasn't going to, but a good friend of mine got it and so I got it so we could play some games.
So, is this something everyone is going to be playing for a while? If so, I will pick it up on sale.
I think so. Right now I'm enjoying the hell out of the "Infected" mode. That's one of the best game modes I've seen in a CoD game in ages.
Hey guys, I picked up my PS4 on Thanksgiving, due to work the only game I have played on it is WarFrame. My lovely wife did pick up COD:G on groupon for me about a month ago for some crazy price like $45 or something. Anyway it should be waiting for me when I get back and I'm looking forward to playing.
I think she paid $40 too much. Unless you're a COD nut and have to get your fix I would look into getting something else.

Have to agree.. I am a COD nut and I can't stand this game.
Well considering that I haven't played a FPS for some time, and it is the only game that I have right now (well considering that I have been offshore, and I hate buying new games when they first come out). She actually bought it in Nov-Dec time frame so it was still fairly newly out. I usually play just to play anyway, more into RPGs though.
