Payday is a great game for $5. I picked up two copies during the last Steam sale and played it quite a bit with a buddy. Just know that it is extremely difficult to succeed if you play alone, the AI teammates contribute very little and the enemy AI is very accurate. I recommend having at least one other person to co-op with.
Just picked up Chivalry Medieval Warfare - I've been wanting this game and now that it is 16 bucks it's a buy! I see 402 has this game - I'm ready to decapitate some bitches with you 402!
I was debating between the two also. TotalBiscuit did a comparison that basically sold me on Chivalry. It has the better MP (more modes etc.) and the better melee combat and more gore. WotR has better graphics, mount play, better archery mechanic. Also Chivalry has bot play so you can play with bots if you want to practice or if your internet is shit (as mine so often is during prime time hours). The bots are bad but it is still good fun and practice.
As soon as I saw the part where he said one of the mp modes as the attacking team you have to gather dead bodies and dump them in the enemy teams well to poison their people I was in lol

Chivalry looks interesting. I had been eyeing War of the Roses but this one looks like it'd be more fun. How active is the multiplayer?
it was pretty active last night - but maybe because of the sale I dunno. I had no problems finding a full server with a good ping.
