Inferno MF Runs
Thanks to Cust0m45 we've been doing some Butcher runs in Inferno for some better swag.
I think I've got a new strategy for this thing though, as I can easily add another 60 or so magic find with some gear I figure on the occasion I don't die on the deadly fire grates then I can switch out before the butcher gets a laser to the forehead.
I realized last night I had been running some useless runes on my skills like Damage% instead of extra heal. Sucks that NV stacks wipe when you change skills out.
I ran public Mission 10 Infernos all weekend long, you fight Butcher at the end and the Warden guy inbetween, a couple good opportunities to find loot. THey usually drop at least two yellows though i did have a couple instances where they dropped only blues.
I found my first orange and first green over the weekend. I got Legendary Pants that suck as expected, none of the legendary gear is very good in D3. But the green amulet I found is awesome, got another 100 dps or so upping me to around 12000 and another 4000 health upping me to 30k. Only other piece of gear i found that I kept over the weekend was a set of pants that had high Intelli and two sockets so i could load up a couple purple gems for health. I'm sitting on a million gold now, looking for a good deal on a 1000dps+ weapon. Prob going to have to settle for a blue instead of a yellow though, 1 mill doesn't buy much.
Does MF % increase the drops of yellows or just blues? Most the blue stuff is worthless i just sell it all at the merch. Yellow stuff I'll sell at the merch or AH. I love how at Level 60, Inferno difficulty i'm getting weapon drops that have a damage of like 160 and crap, WTF is that about.
I've been doing some Siegebreaker runs in NM for some gear for my barb ~lvl 40. First pick Siegebreaker Quest, part 2. GO to the Kosickk Bridge or whatever and pick up Tyrael (he helps with dishing out the pain when you switch to MF gear). Next immediately go to the underground area level 1 and pick up your 5 stacks of Nephalem (if you are lvl 60). Proceed back to Bridge of Kosickk and enter Siegebreaker event. Depending on the difficulty you decide to do you may either switch to mf gear before the fight or get him down super low, switch out your gear and kite and let tyrael finsih him off.
I average 3-4 yellow and 6-10 blue.
Hop your sig if fucking win. That is all.
I love my laser... pew pew
