48 Hours: Texas Hold 'em Free in XBL

Microsoft plans to release Texas Hold'em on Xbox Live FREE, for the first 48-hours of its existance. Are you all in?

August 23rd is the date and FREE is the price. But, get a copy while its hot off the press because once the 48-hours expire you'll be cashing in 800 points for this sucker.

This is official, posted on xbox.com. The time you want to be at your console:

Wednesday, August 23rd @ 1:00 A.M Pacific Time -> Friday, August 25th @ 1:00 A.M Pacific Time

One minute after Friday morning (1:01 A.M Pacific Time) you'll be charged 800 points for the download. So don't delay.

Why is it free? Not sure exactly, but I'm guessing due to rumors about "free or not free?" this is one way to save face before making it cost money?

It doesn't really matter, I'll be powered on and ready to download, will you? The odds are in your favor, you've got the fat stack and all you need to do is click "download" and your all in.

Our site member Q states:
"I am extremely surprised by this seeing as how Microsoft is so financially focused (i.e. GREEDY). For them to actually compromise between the initial 'free game' that was announced and the load of cash that they could surely make in the first 48 hours I have to give them credit."

Thanks to TANK and Q for this wonderful information
