If you purchase one of the guns available on XBL, known as the "Level 4 Tommy Gun" you will gain access to the weapon in-game. But you won't own it until you purchase it in the game.
How much virtual money will this gun cost? $750k. You don't have that much in the game? Well, you can purchase virtual money with real money using, yet more, DLC. You can buy three content pack's for in-game currency at the value of: $250k, $50k, and $100k. Combined you will have 400k to spend, in-game, for guns and such.
- Level 4 Tommy Gun: 100 Microsoft Points ($1.25)
- 250k: 150 Microsoft Points ($1.50)
- 100k: 75 Microsoft Points ($0.94)
- 50k: 40 Microsoft Points ($0.50)
- Ability to convert virtual cash: Priceless.
For gamers that have an abundance of cash in the game, you'll have no problem pulling down the content. However, it is important for everyone else to understand that getting many of the DLC options for Godfather may result in the in-ability to utilize your new purchase until you get better at the game or "cheat" by buying more money.
Note: Like other DLC, this is a one time purchase. So, if you've downloaded the 250k DLC you will have to use that money carefully because you cannot download it again.
It is also important to note, EA disabled the cheat option for more in-game money in their Xbox 360 version of this game. Is it a wonder why?
