It looks as if the 'coming soon' rumors were actually correct. UBISoft & Microsoft today have released the G.R.A.W. 2 demo on Xbox Live Marketplace.
The demo is of medium size, 625MB so you may need to clear some room off the crowded HDD. Unfortunately the demo is only single player. You will play a portion of the second in-game mission in the demo in which you must clear out a rebel camp. You will start out on your own but as you progress through the demo you will get more abilities, more weapons and more Ghosts to join your effort.
The player starts as a lone wolf, and then progresses through different levels, acquiring a number of new tools, weapons and abilities, such as commanding the Ghost squad and both the UAV Cypher and M.U.L.E support drones. All of these tools fall under direct player control, thanks to the new Cross Com 2.0, which allows precise control of these latest marvels of military technology.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter® 2 is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system and Games 4 Windows® in March 2007, with the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system version scheduled to release in June 2007."
Hopefully we'll also get a multiplayer demo before March.
