Microsoft announced, in Leipzig, four new accessories that will be available for the holiday season: Wireless Headset, Wheel, PC receiver, and Faceplates!
The list of items are all slated for the holidays but some may come too late to be great gifts (but you can exchange crappy toys for them!).
Microsoft plans to release, in November, the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset. This integrates "seamlessly" with the Xbox 360 console to provide wireless voice chat capabilties with great voice quality. It's also supposed to have some style and grace to make it fit well into the Xbox 360 accessories collection and make you look less like a gamer dork (maybe not). The cost: USD $59.99.
Next up, the Xbox 360 Faceplates. The new special-edition faceplates feature images from Halo, Viva Piñata and Forza Motosports 2. Each plate is estimated to cost you USD $19.99 available in November.
The Wireless Racing Wheel will become available in November. Great for racing games and driving realism. Complete with force feedback and no wires to get in your way. Those that buy this product will also receive a limited-edition force feedback version of Project Gotham Racing 3 (while supplies last). The cost: USD $149.99.
In late December PC gamers will be able to purchase the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver to connect to their Microsoft Windows PC. This plugs into your USB 2.0 port on the PC so that you can use your Xbox 360 wireless accessories on your Windows-based computer. Cost: USD $19.99
The prices are all listed as "estimated retail prices" by Microsoft but I doubt we'll see them change at this rate.
Thanks to TANK for the information
