There have been a few leaked stories about PlayStation 3 having Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as a launch title. That would be hot.
A very popular RPG on PC and Xbox 360 would be a reason to look towards the PlayStation 3 product line. Although you can obtain Oblivion from many different platforms the graphics would probably be slightly better and, if your in the market for a PS3, it may be enough to push you over the edge.
Believe it or not, the world does not all want First-Person-Shooters. Although Oblivion is technically "first person" and you can indeed shoot fireballs, it doesn't fit the same mold as a classic run-and-gun FPS.
This news was somewhat leaked on a 1UP podcast and a bit was leaked in the Official PlayStation Magazine(OPM) but nobody has come out officially and said "Oblivion will launch with the PS3."
The good news is that Oblivion is very much a single-player game so it would lend itself well as a PS3 launch title given some of the network issues developers are having with the product.
