So, what XBLA games are on the hit list?

- Gyruss
- Dig Dug
- Track & Field
- New Rally-X
- Rush'n Attack
- Ms. Pac-Man
Although it would be great to see these titles on Xbox Live Arcade it definately isn't giving many of us older gamers anything new to play. Over the summer, we received titles each Wednesday - most of those titles were not innovative successes. They were rehashes from our childhood.
What is going to change? Not much, more rehashes from our childhood. Street Fighter was hyped (no pun intended) for months and then quickly forgotten. Will Dig Dugg or Ms. Pac-Man fair better?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to re-play Rush'n Attack and I may actually pay points for it, perhaps, but I'm not completely sure that the majority of gamers are going to care.
If these games were to come out along with new titles from companies like PopCap, GarageGames and such (even re-spins of old concepts) then I think it would be ok. But to push XBLA games with "major announcements" for the "next few months" and only list games like Dig Dug ... ?
I've got dig dug on my mobile phone. I'm sure it will play much easier on the Xbox 360 because my phone has some primative control schemes, but let's face it, I'm dig dugged out regardless. I paid USD $5.00 to download it on my SideKick II, I own it on my GBA, why pay more points for another copy on my 360?
