Former director of the Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics and Ogre Battle states his love for this new platform...
Matsuno praised the Wii at Nintendo's Wii press conference in Tokyo today. Stating "The Wii controller makes total sense when you think about FPS-like games, but my question was, will the controls fit other existing games?"
He goes on to say "However, when I first tried Mario Galaxy, I realized that the controller fit the game almost scarily well. It allows you to intuitively feel the game and its atmosphere." He also agreed with Nintendo's drive for gameplay over graphics.
Hopefully, these top talents will provide the Wii with great innovative games that are fun to play and worth the money.

"Graphics (these days) have evolved, and there are many games claiming that this generates a more realistic atmosphere. However, there are very few games that have a control interface that lives up to this atmosphere. With the Wii controller you can actually feel like you're touching or living in this atmosphere."Why is Matsuno known as the "former" directory of Final Fantasy XII? He left the project midway through its development and quit Square-Enix. He's now working the Wii platform ideas in its place and I am sure Nintendo is glad to have him working their concepts.
Hopefully, these top talents will provide the Wii with great innovative games that are fun to play and worth the money.
