NASDAQ is trying to figure out why Atari’s being a little slow about filing their financial reports for fiscal year ending March 31.
Why would Atari fail to file? Maybe they’re too busy trying to keep their company floating? “Atari says they haven’t filed yet because they’re still trying to figure out what accounting entries they need to make.” We’re not exactly sure what that means, but it sounds like mis-direction so people don’t start getting upset at their results.
Investors decide the fate of a stock based on the company doing well or doing bad in the market. Atari isn’t known to be on the “well” side of “doing” lately, so we’re guessing their a bit slow because they’re not proud of the results.
We’re sure they’ll send in the numbers before delisting, but who knows…
