Yesterday Crave Entertainment announced that they will now be heading up development for a Napoleon Dynamite game for both the PSP and Nintendo DS.
While it may be too late to cash in on the movie release hype, Napoleon Dynamite has won over a substantial crowd of people, inspiring a whole generation of catch phrases and comedic scenes forever singed into our brains.
What exactly was the inspiration for the project? Crave Senior VP Mark Burke says it best:
Napoleon Dynamite is one of the great cult classics of the past decade. It's one of those films that has great memorable lines and characters, and we expect that fans of the movie will really like the game.
Inspired masterpiece? Or quick and dirty cash in? I guess we'll have to wait and find out when it hits retail at a TBA date.
