As we close out the month of April and begin a new month, we have another small week of releases. While this week may not be filled with quantity, there are quite a few games that look pretty good! We’ve got a very intriguing pick of the week, another game with a sweet killcam, a fighting game that refuses to die, and quite possibly a What Were They Smoking?! Award winner that may actually be a good game!
And without further ado, here are the releases for this week!
Pulse’s Pick of the Week

Multiplatform Releases
Sniper Elite V2 (PC, PS3, XBOX360) - Sequel to the 2005 tactical World War II sniping game. This time your target is to take out the ultimate baddie, Hitler! Sniper Elite uses advanced ballistics and takes gravity, wind, velocity, bullet penetration and more into account for every shot taken. A very cool feature is the “kill cam” which shows what happens when the bullet enters the body as it tears away at organs and shatters bone. Game also includes four co-op multiplayer modes. [$49.99]

What Were They Smoking?!
This week shows that you have to be a terrible game to win. This week’s award is given to Awesomenauts for Playstation Network and XBOX Live Arcade. This arcade platformer takes place in the year 3587 (that was a good year) and robots have taken over the universe!! While that in itself is incredibly unoriginal, it is the true heroes of this game that have earned this title the award. The heroes include a Sheriff with an angry holobull, a chameleon with a robot arm, a Soviet space monkey, a robot with anger issues, a mercenary frog, and an evil genius brain in a robot suit. If that was not enough, the game has a theme song reminiscent of 1980’s cartoons and that was enough to make it this week's award winner. Wear it proudly, Awesomenauts! [$10]
