GameDaily BIZ has received an insider tip that Guitar Hero publisher Harmonix will not develop the next installment of Guitar Hero.
Instead that honor would fall in the hands of Tony Hawk Pro Skater developer, Neversoft. Obviously both camps have responded with a standard, "no comment," but a quick click over to the Neversoft website shows a large ad that reads, "Positions Available" for Guitar Hero.
Clicking on the ad seems to take you to Neversoft's standard hiring page, but there is no doubt that the company is creating something for the Guitar Hero franchise. The real question is why? After 2 blockbuster games from Harmonix, why would RedOctane suddenly decide to go with Neversoft? We'll just have to wait and see.
