Halloween is in full throttle mode ‘round Casa del Chunk. Mrs. Soup is in max overdrive, decorating the house to look decrepit and broken on the inside. The quest for the Souplets’ costumes was successful and the makeup they are planning looks grim. Looks like All Hallow's Eve will be another slam dunk this year. But what about this week's games?

It’s B-Ball season once again, and while 2K has been in news with the (in)ability to face scan in NBA 2K15, it looks like EA is bringing its ‘A’ game this year. NBA Live 15 is definitely a far cry from their last basketball game, and one of EA’s first: One on One Dr. J vs Larry Bird. (look it up...it’s a classic!)

If you are awaiting the next gen version of “wrastlin’ you are going to have to wait 3 weeks longer. For those of you with last gen consoles, you are in luck as this year's version of the battle in the square circle is out this week. I have to admit that I haven’t watched WWE since my junior high days so I have no idea who these new guys are in WWE 2K15. I can say that they don’t seem as “out there” like guys like the Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, and others were. That’s a shame. What has wrestling come to?

Lords of the Fallen looks pretty. That’s about all I have, other than its medieval fantasy setting, penchant for massive weapons and monsters, and some punishing battles. If Dark Souls is your thing then you may want to give Lords of the Fallen a chance.

So it looks like MS is really banking on this exclusive with the release of a limited edition white console (remember when all you haters bitched that the 360 only came in white?). I want this game to be f’ing awesome but to me this looks a lot like a shootier, jumpier, more rail grindier version of Dead Rising. Not that shootier, jumpier and rail grindier doesn't sound like fun, it's just that I have come to realize that as I get older I am beginning to suck at these types of games.

This game is going to be terrible. The only reason I put it on this list is because the movie is going to be AWESOME! Seriously though, don’t buy this game for your kids...or someone else’s kids...or anyone else.
