After a 24 hour delay, the Shadowrun demo is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for download. This game has been given mixed reviews so there is probably a significant number of gamers that have been waiting to decide if it’s worth their $60.
In related news, there are some reports that the demo is not showing up under the Game Demo’s, New Releases area. So if you look for it there and don’t find it, go to the All Demo’s section and search for Shadowrun there.
The demo is a pretty hefty download weighing in at 1.07 Gigs, so you may need to clear out some room on those strained 20GB drives. The download will feature :
- The Necessary Training Chapters 1, 2 and 3.
- Solo BOT Matches
- Public Multiplayer
- One game type : Raid
- One game map : Power Station
- Elf Race
- Human Race
- Magic : Tree of Life, Resurrect, Gust and Teleport
- Tech : Glider, Enhanced Vision and Smartlink
- Weapons : Pistol, SMG, Rifle, Shotgun, Katana and Sniper Rifle
The demo is available in most regions including USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Europe. So get on your Xbox and give it a try. It might just be the older gamers FPS.
