The Simpsons game demo has officially been made available for download via the Xbox live marketplace and PS3 Home today Tuesday October 8th, 2007.
In the full episode demo titled "Shadow of the Colossal Donut" players will battle the ginormous Lard Lad statue, a throwback to the Treehouse of Horror VI, who is looking to wreak havoc across Springfield.
Kent Brockman will be providing play by play commentary from Chopper 7 as players take control of Homer or Bart and attempt to bring this monster to his knees.
Let is know what you guys think of the game. For many, the Simpson's titles have rarely inspired memories of "great gameplay" or innovative game design. Hopefully this one can prove us wrong.
The Simpsons Game is slatted for release October 30th, 2007 and will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP and DS.
