Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Episode 1 - A New Day hit PC, PSN, and Xbox Live last week. The release trailer gives a glimpse into the action of the episode and a look at some of the characters you’ll be playing. The main focal character who was created just for the game is Lee Everett, a convicted murderer given a second chance at freedom in the new world of the undead.
Through episode one you’ll meet the characters he bands together with and see how Telltale portrays the world compared to the comic book and television show. Though this game will follow a new cast of characters, there will be cameos from familiar characters. From scenes in the trailer, it looks like we’ll be seeing Glenn from the television series in episode one.

This is the first in the five episode series that will be released over the course of the summer. Telltale explains that decisions you make in each episode will affect the outcome of the game. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out and fits into the canon of the award winning series. Stay tuned as we'll have a full review of the game coming soon!
