The past week has been busy leading up to Gamescom in Germany this week. If you are not familiar with Gamescom it’s basically the Euro version of E3.
Here are some of the highlights from the past week
ARK: Survival Evolved
The indie PvP dino trainer/hunter hit has been available in early access on Steam for a while now but is also heading to Xbox One as part of their recently announced preview program. As for when a full release is to be expected Studio Wildcard is anticipating a June 2016 release date via the ID@Xbox program, PS4 with Project Morpheus support and of course Steam with support for Oculus Rift.

Mad Max
Warner Bothers announced a new trailer for Mad Max this week showing a little more of the story and a lot more characters. Jeet, Gutgash, Pink Eye, Deep Friah make appearances as do a number of strongholds and outposts dotting the Wasteland. I didn’t get to see too much of this at E3 this year but I did notice the lines ups continually increased to get in to see it. This one is releasing September 1st of this year so we can see for ourselves soon enough.
Worms 4 and Worms WMD
To celebrate the 20th birthday of the worms franchise and developer Team 17’s 25th, those little pink squiggles of ultimate destruction are back. Worms 4 will be heading to iOS sometime this month while Worms WMD is set to hit the Xbox One and PC early 2016.
Endless Space 2 / Dungeon of the Endless
Endless Space 2 continues the award winning turn based 4x strategy defined by Amplitude Studios’ previous efforts such as Endless Space, Dungeon of the Endless and Endless Legend. If you are a fan check out the interactive trailer here and use your spacebar to unravel the timeline and learn more about the game.
Dungeon of the Endless is making its way to the iPad 2+ years after debuting on the PC and will come complete with the PC add-on’s Deep Freeze and Bookworm.
Total War: Warhammer
Creative Assembly released its first gameplay demo video with commentary from their upcoming release Total War: Warhammer. It’s a work in progress and details out a battle between the Empire and the Greenskin horde.

Warhammer 40,000: Regicide
Achieving an 88% approval rating while in early access on Steam, Warhammer 40,000: Regicide fans received its final release date this week! August 26th, 2015 will see the release of all three acts of the 50 mission campaign along with a large number of fan requested features and improvements.
Nom Nom Galaxy
When I first read this title my mind went to another sequel of Cut The Rope. Not even close. Released on PC August 3rd, Nom Nom Galaxy is a 2D sandbox game with tower defense and base building elements. Your goal is to rule the galactic soup empire and feed the alien masses while warding off rival soup magnates.
