During the PAXEast convention in Boston this past March, Waterborn had the opportunity to meet Nathan & Amy Fouts of Mommy’s Best Games and get some hands-on experience with an early version of their upcoming release, Grapple Buggy. This week Waterborn followed up with Nathan & Amy to find out where development currently stands with this highly anticipated scrolling shooter. In the process, he also learned about Nathan’s budding career as a research scientist, revealing the source of inspiration for all those bizarre creatures that players must battle in previous MBG games such as Shoot1Up and Weapon of Choice.
