I vaguely remember seeing this at PAX East back in 2019. Looks like a pretty sweet 8-bit homage to classics like Ninja Gaiden and Simon’s Quest. And who doesn’t want to be a cybernetic ninja?!

Developed by someone from the Silent Hill team, this was announced way back in 2012 but wasn’t completed until recent gen consoles hardware capabilities caught up to the game’s needs. It's a fixed camera third person psychological horror game. The graphics do look pretty sweet although I’m not sure how much of that trailer was actual gameplay vs. cut scenes.

Olija has you play as Faraday who is shipwrecked and finds a cursed harpoon.It has old school graphics and is inspired by pirates and adventure games. For full homage I’m wondering if those are in fact monkeys in this game image...

I’m not sure I’ve ever had a game title that took up 2 lines before. When I first read that it was set in Lugunica I read it as linguica and was surprised they had portugese sausage in Japan. Also didn’t know Subaru could be a person’s name...Anyways this adventure strategy game focuses surprise staring like in a new world and who lays claim to the throne.
