Nintendo is filling the new release void this week with some titles getting updates and facelifts for the newest platforms. We’ve also got one more title for all consoles finally making its way from Japan to North America 10 years later.

This is a remake of the the DS RPG where you play as Mario and Luigi trapped in Bowser’s innards. It’s updated with all new bonus mode Bowser Jr.’s Journey. This might be the title that pushes me over the edge for buying a 3DS because the Koopa Kids are my all time favorite video game characters!
New Super Mario Bros: U Deluxe
Release Date: January 11, 2019
Platforms: NS

From my new release “research” the internet seems very upset that Bowsette isn’t a thing in this game. But you can play as some weird Toadette/Peach hybrid character and Nabbit. This title combines New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U that debuted on the WiiU and updates them for the Switch console. It adds some new modes and multi-player variations as well.
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
Release Date: January 11, 2019
Platforms: PC, NS, PS4, XBO
Coming this week to all the consoles, this definitive collection celebrates the 10th anniversary since the last title in the RPG series was released in Japan. It has updated graphics and all the content from the Japanese title. You can play with English or Japanese voice tracks.
