Finally picked up a copy of Doom for PS4 after Steam gave me a refund since my five year old PC finally met its killer app and couldn’t keep up with the graphics. Before my life is consumed by demons I better get on updating all the 2old2play readers on what’s coming out this week!

In the trailer this almost looks likes a VR game with the first person perspective, but you don’t need fancy hardware to play. The game mechanics are code based and aimed at all skill levels.

Being a Double Fine fan girl I remember when Headlander was just a concept game from the studio’s annual Amnesia Fortnight in 2014. Now it's a full fledged “Metroidvania” title (which is totally a thing and has its own wikipedia article) published by Adult Swim Games.You play as a head out to save humanity from evil robots.

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 7-Access Denied

I guess the Telltale version of Minecraft is almost as popular as the regular game since they were slated to make 5 episodes and they’re up to 7! Minecraft still feels like my “Get off my lawn” gaming moment but at some point I’ll check this out since I have a free copy from PAX East and love story based games. Also apparently I’ve been living under a rock because I only just realized from this trailer that Patton Oswalt and a whole bunch of other awesome comedians and voice actors are involved!

Hyper Light Drifter
