Coffee Memoirs: A virtual overload of titles this week, lots of remakes. Stuff for everyone across the board. I don’t see any major titles that screams gimme gimme or shut up and take my money but some good titles to hold us over for now. I think most of us are starving for the tidbits on Halo Infinite and Cyberpunk 2077 which we at least got a smidge this month for Halo Infinite at least. Release of 8 minute of demo footage from the campaign for your enjoyment. (That grapple hook, Mmmm.)
Quickie on remake titles hitting this week. A lot of them.

Hellpoint
Release Date: July 30, 2020
Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
3rd Person, action role-playing game. It’s got local and online Co-op. I don’t know what that means to you, but that means fun multiplication most of the time. For a day in age where we are itching for some interaction with other people, here is an option. It offers a mix of different options as far as play style. It looks like close combat, guns or magic?... for ranged options and additional armor options which probably plays into the speed of your reaction or movement is my guess.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs.
Release Date: July 30, 2020
Platforms: PS4
Gundams, we all… well, a lot of us… have that fascination of piloting big robots that do battle against incredible odds and being victorious in a futuristic world. I get it… I myself have been into Mechwarrior for many years and the Gundam fan base is HUGE! They have amazing miniatures / figures and keep on pumping out anime. It wasn’t until recently that I even thought about them being anything other than a shelf decoration but learned I had a friend with a bunch of them and that he was building out a battle scene like diorama! So cool. Anyhow, enjoy!

Fairy Tail
Release Date: July 31, 2020 (?)
Platforms: PC, SWITCH, PS4
I will start with I loved the anime. Does that mean as a fan we have an affinity towards any games that are released for it? I do not think so personally but not opposed either! The game looks just like the anime basically and with a unique story created for the game. A lot of games based on anime probably have their origins in Japan and what I have seen is subtitled so not quite sure if they got it dubbed in time for a North American release. Subbed is still good those of us who have the itch to enjoy some good anime though. Missions, lots of playable characters, go Salamander!
