You know what is really kinda cool? NUC's. NUC's are cool. I found a couple used ones for nearly the price of Raspberry Pi's (once you add in the case and PSU and memory cards)but they are infinitely more powerful. I found one locally for $250 with 16gb of ram, an 8th gen i5, 16gb of ram, 1tb ssd, wifi and bluetooth for 250. I was so impressed with this little thing that I set out to find another to replace my aging raspberry Pi3 I was using for a media server. Yeah they run a little hotter and gobble up some more power but once it was setup it's like night and day over the Pi. Is it overkill for a media server? Maybe it is but for $150 I got a 7th gen i5, 16gb of ram and 512 m.2 drive with wifi, bluetooth, USB3 ports and gigabit networking. All in a little 4" x 4" x 2" box. Hell, you can mount it to the back of a monitor if you want. These things are pretty awesome. If you are in the market for a Pi and are having a hard time finding one, look for a used NUC instead. While Pi's are great, even a Celeron based NUC will run rings around the Pi's ARM processor.
There is a lot of games coming out this week and to my surprise, most of them are NOT re-release's! Let's dig in!

Pentiment
Release Date: November 15th, 2022
Platforms: PC, Xbox One, XSX/S
I really like the art style and animation here and watching the trailer, Pentiment gives me a Horrible Histories vibe. That show was like a car accident for me. To this day I am both distrubed and grossed out by some of the things I learned about British history. For example, watching those monks stir up pots in the trailer reminds me of one scene where a mother and child are stirring a pot and the child asks where their father is. The mother relpies he is not coming home and it is either shown or implied that papa died of some disease and they are so hungry (due to famine and taxes) mom chopped him up and put him in the soup. I am going to go throw up now...

Goat Simulator 3
Release Date: November 17th, 2022
Platforms: PC, PS5, XSX/S
My first question is this: There was a Goat Simulator 2?!?!?! I have to admit, I played the first game becasue the premise is completely bonkers and it gave me plenty of chuckles. Overall, Goat Simulator was not what I would call a "classic". It was a one trick pony, albeit a damn funny one but now a third installment in what we have to call the "Goat Simulator Franchise"? Are you for real? If you asked that question as well, the answer, much to my surprise, is yes! With 4-player co-op the whole family can partake!
