October is over, the trick or treaters are nursing chocolate hangovers, and the Great Pumpkin has come and gone. Retailers are looking forward to Black Friday and we are looking forward to those juicy holiday titles. If you guys haven't made a Christmas list for Santa, now would be a good time to start. This week we go to the moon, travel back in time to WWII, shoot some zombies, give vampires the stake, platform with a cartoon dog, race a Porsche or two, and score a nifty new watch.
Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers

Relive some of the most ferocious air combat of WWII. Players are able to choose between either the US or Japan, and combat arenas include Wake Island, Midway, and Pearl Harbor. Aircraft carriers serve as bases and players will control entire squadrons of fighters.

Ubisoft's city building series goes to the moon. Players will have control over nine zones: three temperate, three polar, and three lunar. Each zone will feature different resources and challenges. As usual for the genre, focus is on production, resource gathering, and expansion.
Need For Speed

Ghost Games has taken the reins in this reboot of the venerable franchise. Like the Forza Horizon franchise, this game will appeal to a younger racing crowd than GT or Forza track games. Need For Speed is an open-world racer set in the perpetually dark city of Ventura Bay. Since EA has a death-grip on the Porsche license, expect to see a few Stuttgart specials among the 50+ car roster. This arcade racer rolls out on Tuesday.
Peanuts: Snoopy's Grand Adventure

Platforms: XB1, 360, PS4, WiiU, 3DS
This is a side-scrolling platformer movie tie-in. Players assume the role of Snoopy in the search for the missing Charlie Brown. Woodstock is available as a co-op character. This one is priced at 40 bucks, so don't get your expectations up, but it may be a good stocking stuffer for those of us with smaller kids.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

It's Treyarch's turn at a COD game, and they're busting out a sequel to Black Ops 2, complete with zombies. Last-gen Sony and Microsoft consoles will receive a feature-limited version of the game with multiplayer campaign only. Time to upgrade, amigo.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

This Steam title features the entire Van Helsing trilogy, six playable classes, and a brand new ending.This vampire hunter will be ready for download starting Friday.
Yo-Kai Watch

North America is late to the Yo-Kai party: this game already has a sequel and a spin-off title in its Japanese homeland. Yo-Kai Watch is an RPG that features a protagonist with a magical watch that allows him to see mischevious spirits.
