Well, it's been a week hasn't it? Soccer moms around the world freaked out when Season 10 of Fortnite finished. Destiny 2 seems to be holding steady at around 1 million players at any given time (much to my surprise). Borderlands 3 continues to be great and I find myself struggling to get back into Gears 5. How about you? Are you just waiting for the games dropping this week?
I am curious about one of them...can you guess which it is?
WWE2K20
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One
Release Date: October 22nd, 2019
If wrasllin' is your thing still and you can't get enough then I think WWE 2K20 is for you. If not, I would probably advise to stay away. I find there are 2 kinds of people in this world and you either love WWE or you don't.
The Outer Worlds
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One
Release Date: October 25th, 2019
The Outer Worlds (an other worldly (ie. Space) RPG by Obsidian) stirred up some contreversy this past week when it was revealed the the PS4 pro (which really only upsamples 4k) will not get the full high res texture update that the Xbox One X does (which is native 4k). The PS4 players were up in arms and to them I say this...Seriously? How close to the TV are you going to sit that you will be even able to tell? Those players who seem to have a skewed sense of entitlement likely seemed to conviently forget about our next title.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One
Release Date: October 25th, 2019
It's Call of Duty. Do I need to say more? Do I need to tell you it is a soft reboot-ish of the Modern Warfare brand? Do I need to tell you that there was a rumor that the PS4 timed exclusive DLC was going to be a full year and the self entitled PS4 players were rubbing it into the Xbox One & PC crowd while Xbox and PC players cry foul? Do I need to tell you that there will be cross platform play? Do you even care?
