Darksiders: Warmastered Edition

The fall of THQ was particularly noteworthy for the cannibalization of their IPs by different devs. Nordic acquired the Darksiders franchise, releasing a remastered version of Darksiders II last October. Apparently working in reverse-chronological order, Nordic is releasing a remastered version of the original just in time for Halloween. You’ve played it before, but this time it’s on a current console and only costs twenty bucks.

Dragonball Z Xenoverse 2

This is the second installment of the arena fighting game based on a Japanese anime series. Gameplay is fast and packed full of super moves. Many characters are represented in various chronologies in the DBZ universe, so young and adult versions of many characters, with varying skill and ability levels, are playable.

The original Farming Simulator was a surprise hit, so naturally there is a sequel. Personally, I don’t see the attraction of this game, or most sim games for that matter, but for all of the wannabe farmers at 2o2p grab your coveralls and John Deere hat. It’s harvest time!

If, for some crazy reason, you haven’t played Bethesda’s epic, Skyrim, then you should punch yourself in the face, sell some blood, and get this as soon as it drops on Friday. The graphics are mind-blowingly good for a console and, like Fallout 4, there will be mods for both consoles.
