Here it is, three days early to preempt E3 and the media nightmare that will follow.
Our goal was to get this out as soon as possible so that it does not get lost in the crowd of crazy news articles. This rush cut three days off our schedule which I had already mistakenly made too tight (I was unaware of the mad contributions and scheduled a due date too late in the month).
So next month's submissions must be done by May 25th so that our editing team can get some time to work the documents and I don't have to give too many partials to the design team.
Ok, the magazine content speaks for itself, but I just want to give a big thank you to the editing team for getting me reviews on a timely basis with more then a single editors input. I've learned a lot about Microsoft merging on documents now :-)
Now, the designers and illustrators need mad props. Lunatikzx worked through his new RL work schedule with my shortened "virtual" schedule. Broken Design was up till 3AM on multiple nights this week trying to prep for a Friday release (he gets up at 6am for RL work). BATMANKM finished onen illustration at midnight on the 4th, and into the wee hours of the morning to get the next one read for release (as you can see, I'm prepping this press release the night before, eyes are burning, and I've not yet seen BATMANKM's final last illustration but I'm sure it will be in by 3am as promised).
So when you click the download button and start reading please remember the designers and illustrators that now hate me for driving them until the sun rose for a product that is FREE (none of them get paid yet they work their ass off). Why? Because they, like us, want to make a name for themselves. They also uphold to their promise of perfection (when you see the illustrations and design layout I am 100% confident you will agree).
Ok, now on to the next issue (whew).
