On Wednesday July 27th the 2Old2Play Challenge Team met on the battlefields of Burial Mounds, Foundation and Zanzibar to fight the formidable Clan PMS jr. Tensions ran high and most of us were popping our nitroglycerin pills under our tongues so the excitement wouldn't kill our old asses. I myself pulled out my second oxygen tank just in case. After a quick introduction to each others teams the matches started.
First Match: Burial Mounds: 50-29
Second Match: Foundation: 50-27
Third Match: Zanzibar: 50-32

As you can see the 2O2P Challenge Team won all 3 matches by about 20 kills each round but it was by no means a push over. These girls were great snipers and even better grenade chuckers.
First Match: As soon as the first match started on Burial Mounds we started losing....1 kill....2 kills.....3 kills. I immediately went and hid to think things over in the cave near the alien sniper spawn. Just as I was getting ready to move the PMS team went running past the cave opening and I saw my opportunity. I popped my head out and tossed a few grenades, pulled out the BR and took down 3 members of PMS before I was dispatched to the re-spawn screen. The girls were relentless at traveling as a pack which was scary to see. I think the only thing that took them down was their lack of watching their flanks. There were numerous times where we would attack from one side and have the rest of the team loop around to the flank or rear most of the time by accident but sometimes by design but once we got both snipers the game really swung our way.
Second Match: We found out on Foundation just how good they were at tossing the pinapples. As soon as the match started our entire team was killed leaving the base because they all honed in and tossed at both entrances of our spawn area. At that point we started thinking that our first win was a fluke but the team banded together and worked like a well oiled machine calling out enemy positions and weapon locations and doing our best to stay alive. After all was said and done our teamwork paid off and we won the round.
Third Match: All I have to say is thank god LadyCroft313 didn't hold the sniper rifle in the Burial Mounds match because she was tearing us up from the Froman location from accross the map to 2 feet away with a no-scope. We luckily were able to overwelm her position in due time but she certainly gave us a huge scare. That match could have gone either way but once again teamwork paid off and we were able to secure all the major weapons on the map and hold them.
We all had a great time. The match was fun, exciting and stressfull at times. A huge thanks to Clan PMS! Thanks to Trihunter for setting up the team and the match. Hope you guys had fun to because thats what its all about!
