I can’t believe it either folks. After what seemed like years, we finally are launching our tournament software to the 2o2p community. If you look to your left hand side of the site, under the main navigation, you will now see Tournaments! The list of features we have is just too long to go into detail with. To name a few, 2o2p users will be able to sign up for seasonal ladders, tournaments, contest all within our tournament interface. All players will have the ability to join multiple teams for all games on any platform.
This gives everyone the ability to play with their clan, within their clan, or out side of their clan on any game and console they choose. You can accept challenge via the site or even set up special event day within our Event Calendar. Talk about jam packed!
How will we learn all this?
At this time, each page will also be accompanied by a useful "help box" at the bottom. These boxes should explain a lot of the features that the system has to offer. After we have grown accustom to all the features, I will be turning off the boxes for a less distracting experience.
So what are some other features?
Well if I had to list some they would be..
Each ladder requires a game President that will make all the rules and govern over the entire ladder. In the case of our 4 v 4 Halo 2 ladder the president is none other then King Drewsky. If you would like to start a ladder and become President of another game please PM me or Dsmooth and we will set you up. Not every game requested will get its own ladder as it will depend on popularity of the game. Please remember, being president does mean you will have some responsibilities. All emails and questions about the ladder will be directed at you and any disputes will be on your hands to deal with.
This sounds great, where do I sign up?
In order to sign up you must be 25 years or older and be a member of this site. Once that is out of the way, you will go to the tournament menu on the left hand side of the site and click My Option and then Create Team. From there you can build your team profile, send out your invites to other members, join ladders, talk in a team only forum and so much more. You team will remain password protected and will require new members to know the password before they can join.
We will constantly be adding more stuff for you guys and hope that the errors will be at a minimum. Please remember this is a beta so any problems should be emailed to us directly at ladder@2old2play.com or posted on out forums. See you all in the game!
