2old2play West Coast LAN & Benefit Fundraiser

With the recent rise in popularity of LAN parties, some of our west coast members have figured out a way to make this one a little bit “special”. It all came together over a suggestion by Cheapbamboo that if you put 2 good things together, the results are even better. LAN party = good thing. Helping people = good thing. LAN party + Helping People = UnFreakin Believable! And faster than a speeding sword lunge, the LAN party/Benefit fundraiser was born! Because of our philanthropy we were able to negotiate fantastic sponsorships to help make this happen including; food and soft drinks, MAJOR discounts on renting 4 LCD projectors with screens, a free location, and the benevolent Bungie Studios who has donated a special prize.

The space at this LAN is limited to 24 people(that's three teams of eight), so PM cheapbamboo ASAP to hold your place.
We will also be having a tournament with some great prizes. Including the very special prize donated by none other than Bungie! Wait it's a surprise! The rules are TBD, but will be posted in this thread soon.

THE DATE: 10/30/05 (Sunday)

THE TIME: 12:00pm to 9pm

THE PRICE: $35 donation/entry fee. Remember every dollar after $150 (to cover the room set-up and projection equipment) goes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Your help will go far in beating Cancer.
