Well it looks like after a long couple of months, the 2old2play Winter Ladder season is coming to an end.
Congratulations to all the members that signed up and participated in all the ladder this season. Some were more popular then others, but each one had it's fair share of battles.
Our main event, the Gears of War 4v4 ladder, was filled with over 21 teams consisting of 126 members all battling it out for the top spot on 2o2p. Legion of Doom went an impressive 10-0 and dominated the ladder along with second place and 9-0 winner, Badass Outlaws. Rounding out the top three was ARTofWARx2 who came extremely close to second with a well rounded 10-4 record.
All top 4 GoW teams will be receiving 100 site points as we await the new season and new addition to the GoW ladder. We may even cap things off with a nice elimination style tournament bracket of the top eight.
As for the other ladders, Halo 2 will finally be taken out of the ladder roster as well as Call of Duty 3. These ladders simply didn't see enough traffic to warrant a new season. Instead we will be looking into more ladders for GoW as well as new additions as the season rolls on. Maybe a Halo 3 Beta ladder will be in order by then? Until we make an announcement, just keep on practicing and watch your backs on the battle field.
