This past week on April 7th, 2006, Knaabi, a founding member and admin of 2old2play lost his beloved wife of many years to sudden heart failure.
Many of our members have already read his blog on 2old2play and know of this tragic and unexpected event. For those of you that did not know, we decided to shut down 2old2play for a moment of silence. We have since reopened the site as of 12:00p.m. today, but would still like people to take the chance to remember a women who was loved by all. She leaves behind 3 beautiful children and most importantly my best friend.
At this time we would like to continue to extend the opportunity for members to donate to a special fund we have set up in the name of Kandie Bailey. This money will be used to help the burden a loss of this magnitude can create for a family. Please only give what you can.
On behalf of the extended 2old2play family, I would just like to say that we all mourn with you brother. The heart of everyone here goes out to your children (Niki, Austin, and Alaina) and most importantly you Ed. I love you all.
Donation Updates: The community has already responded with hundreds of emails, phone calls, and private messages. Each one is filled with well wishes and support. I would like to take this time to personally thank this wonderful community on behalf of the Bailey family. It means a great deal to them. Any comments on his blog or this article will be sent directly to the log book for everyone to read during her service. Thanks to you, we have already raised over $2,000 this morning. Thank You and we will keep you updated as the day goes on.
