This Halo 3 television ad goes for emotion, in a Discovery Channel-styled documentary interview sometime around the turn of the 27th century with a veteran who fought alongside Master Chief.
There’s no gameplay shots, no visual effects, just an old man in The Museum of Humanity. Does it tug at your heartstrings, maybe just a little?
