Two classic arcade games are coming to the Xbox Live Arcade soon, as Warlords and Battlezone have both been rated E by the ESRB. Now, the fact they’re coming to the Xbox 360 is not news, but their rating indicates release is imminent.
Warlords is one of the best classic Breakout variants, as four players try to knock each other out by using a paddle to knock the ball at the others’ brick castles; it made for some intense Atari 2600 parties (though this version will be based on the arcade coin-op.)
Battlezone was a memorable wire-frame coin-op that used dual controls and a periscope to fire at opposing tanks and UFOs. If there was ever an old arcade game that screamed for online multiplayer…
