Hardware store

OK, we went to Lowes today to get some closet shelving, etc. to redo my son's closet. Saturday, 10:30 am, biggest and most popular hardware store in our suburbia. 2 cashiers working, but they had 4 "Self Serve" registers. Needless to say, the 2 cashiers had these huge lines and the Self Serve had hardly anyone and those that did worked really slow. I hate those things. I just don't get why the stores think this is so great, other than saving money. It isn't faster because by the time the idiots in front of you figure the damn thing out, 3 people have gone through the cashier's line. Ugh. End of rant.

I hate those self serve deals.More ways to avoid hiring enough help, and machines don't get benefits.Nice playing with you in the old fogey tourney.Welcome to 202p.:)

each self serve checkout = 1 job, I wont use them, jobs are more important then any convieniece I may get! People should come first (as well as costomer service)
