I was going to a conference one Saturday / Sunday, staying 1 night in a hotel room. I took the Xbox from work with me with a copy of halo 2. I was thinking I might get an hour or two of gaming in before bed. At lunch break I check into the hotel, get in the room and discover there is no RCA INS on the TV. So I run out to the electronics store and get an RF adapter for the Xbox, and go back to the conference. Dinner break I go to my hotel (20min drive from conference), go to hook up the RF adapter, you cannot take the cable off the back of the TV, and so I am screwed right? Nope, now I am determined to get this to work, I return the RF adapter, then I find a Wal-Mart, I go and buy a TV, bring it back to the hotel, set it up, the RCA ins do not work, go back to Wal-Mart exchange the monitor. At this point dinner break from the conference is long over, but I have a monitor and an Xbox running Halo 2. So I stayed up way to late playing Halo 2, I made it back to the conference the next morning, people asked where I was the night before, and I said I crashed because I worked the night before. After the conference I returned the monitor to Wal-Mart for a refund.
That was about a year ago. More recently I have purchased WOW, knowing I don’t have a computer I can run it on. I do most of my gaming at work, so I am trying to find a way to manipulate our IT guy to upgrade the MAC at my desk so I can play it, I will let you know how it turns out.
