Thanks!

I wanted to say thanks to everyone that participated in our mixer and a special thanks to the hosts who emptied their buddy lists to make room for this event and kept the games interesting.  I played in 3 different rooms and simply joined the team with less people while paying no attention to skill level.  It seemed as if my team would lose a game or two and then win the next.  People switched teams without prompting to keep the games even and there were very few blowouts.  There were actually several territory or oddball games that had the teams finish only a few seconds apart.  I thought lag might be more of a problem than it actually was.  Good times!

I hope this can become a monthly event and cross over to different games but Halo 2 is really what brought us all together.  I look forward to gaming with many of the new friends I have added to my list.  We have our clan night on Thursdays but please feel free to send an “inv?” text message if you ever want to jump in a few games any other night!
