Hello again guys just thought i would share this very sad day with you and ask if you have ever been through this type of thing urself's

A few months ago i went to the dog pound and found myself a lovley dog called fudge she was part boxer and part staff so i bought her home with me and she was a bit strange to start with. Then one day when i came home she had chewed the door frame so i though ok fair enough it is a new place so i gave her the benifit of the doubt.A few days later she started scratching the door to pieces and still eating the door frame. So then i had a brain storm while i am out i will let her rome the house and when i go to bed she can sleep upstairs with me everything was fine for two weeks.Last week i came home and she had destroyed most of my dvd collection my music cds's where no more and my g/f nvq work was also bit to bits aswell as all the mail i had that day.So i was thinking maybe this dog hs not got a brain and i was reaching the end of the road with her.So last night i came home and she had gone into the toilet destroyed all the toilet roll all my shavers the tooth brush's basicly everything she could get to it was like a big wreck.

Well this was the final straw so to finish this is a sad day because i have took her back today from where i got her from and i am now gutted and i mean really gutted. So like i say my question to you guys is have you ever had to do this to a pet.

thanks for reading just needed to get it off my chest
Also as a side note my house is rented

Been there, done that (had that). Diagnosis: Seperation anxiety. treatment: Crate training. How old was the dog? Read my blog to see what I had to do. Both of my dogs have/had seperation anxiety. I went through many couches, mattresses, hot tube covers, doors etc. If you get a dog, understand that they ALL like to chew, especially if they are bored. Be prepared to deal w/this issue for ALL dogs. The best show ever-----> The dog whisperer OMG!! Cesaer is "da bomb" I truly wish I was married to him!!!!!

HAd a similar issue as well with my yellow lab. We were his third owner in a year, so he gets pretty nervous when he's left alone, and yes, he does chew. Meemos is right, crating the dog is the answer. Some dogs require this to be done for years, others not as long. After the anxiety leaves them, they are fine to let roam when you're gone.
