Many of you that have played halo with me lately know that I have had to take frequent breaks to put the baby back in bed. Well, here is the culprit. This is my 19 month old. He is my first kid to escape from his crib. Granted the oldest was moved out of his crib at 15 months because we moved and his crib went into storage while we looked for a new place while living with my parents. My daughter cant even climb the mcdonalds playland at 3 1/2. So not much compitition. In the picture it looks like he is standing on his blanket, but really his foot is about 6 inches above it. And his sisters doll house is about 6 inches away from his crib too, so he isnt standing on it. Its all just his little monkey feet. I tried socks thinking that would make his little monkey feet slippery, but you can see how well that worked.
Shakes tells me I need to move him into the toddler bed. But I keep hoping he will get over his escaping ways and go back to being happily confined.
Im thinking either greasing the bars with some silicone lube, or duct taping his feet together. Maybe make him sleep in one of those annoying baby sleep sacks. Or *sigh* just admit my baby is growing up and move him to the big bed...
This kid is getting too big. Time for one of those fun little babies that dont move! (I much prefer newborns to toddlers)
