Okay, I'll try to keep this short, but there's a back story to this that needs to be explained.

This is me in Yreka, CA in 1978-82ish

This was my hometown from roughly 1979-83 - it's hard to remember exactly.  Population 5000.  We had one stoplight and behind my house was a creek and woods.  I never heard of any crime of any kind in this town.  My parents let me wonder around at an early age, because they knew there wasn't any problems here.  I'm not trying to boast, but who could ask for a better place to be a kid?  Small towns are kid towns!  I remember we had one small theater, which played special cheap movies over the summer.  I saw Sinbad movies one year, you know the one's with the clay creatures and motion-capture... classic.  I met my first girlfriend here - and ended up pulling her pants down in front of the entire school at recess one time... (sorry Ann!) I got into my first fight... which happened to be with the son of my baseball coach (Garren, the ball was out)... classic!

Anyway - it's weird how much I was and still seem to be attached to this little town.... oh - also, the roads in and out of the town were so windy that it was not uncommon to see people on the side of the road throwing-up (motion sickness)  HA!  Is that great or what?

Anyway - of course we all have this desire to share our chilhood with the people we are with now... I guess that's the easiest way to put it...  no more explanation needed - just a picture:
