Happy Friday, Everyone!!!!!!

I am home now for a few days. I don't work full time cuz I keep my grandson a couple days a week. But, woohoo, it's Friday! Work was really rough the last couple days, and I'm glad to be home. Tonight is Friday Night Magic, which is a hoot. Well, it sorta depends on who shows up, but my friend Andrew continues to crack me up every Friday. We use ventrilo so we can talk instead of type while we play. Fun! He is Australian. Even more fun! He says he doesn't have an accent, that I do. LOL. I guess it's all in how you look at it.

When I got home from work today, hubby told me I could not come in the house cuz he was exterminating. Ack! Our house is a lady bug magnet. I can hear y'all laughing. Not funny! They descend upon us mid-October, swarm like bees for a couple weeks, then find creative ways to get into our house. And we find creative ways to eliminate them. They are protected, cuz they are considered "good" insects. We found this out when we called an exterminator to help us get rid of them. He went down in the crawl space. Ohhhh. When he came out, he told us, you don't have hundreds, you don't have thousands, you have millions of ladybugs down there! Duh, yes, we know! So what can we do about it? Nothing! They are protected! Huh..... He did give us some advice, off the record, sorta, and we have done our research. Truth is, there really isn't much you can do, protected or not. They are just tough! Hubby continues to fight the battle, though. Yuk...

So, here I sit on my front porch, with my laptop, wondering what's for supper. Um, bug poison???? I guess we're going out tonight.......
