Shared on Fri, 10/20/2006 - 18:16Well, after some considerable lurking (like stalking, just not as creepy), I've decided it was time to post something.
Quite the week this week.
Finally started playing WoW. I had a fundemental problem with paying a monthly fee for a game that I paid $50 for. Now since it's come down to $20.00, it's a little easier to stomach. Reached a whopping level 4 last night (world domination, here I come). Spen most of the first few days chasing my corpse, but I've learned a little since then.
Found out that my favorite LAN gaming place is closing up shop. The Portal in Wauwatosa, WI is shutting it's doors in the next few weeks. Sad actually, they were very cool people. That seems like such a tough business to make work. Every place that goes up, seems to get knocked out.
On a personal note, my wife and I have been trying to sell our house since May. Not one offer has come through. They're now saying that for every one qualified buyer out there, there are 57 homes on the market. Not good. In any case, we're not in a financial pinch or anything to sell, so it's not like we will be in a serious hurt because of this. So now, we are pulling it off the market, and will wait until next spring to re-list. Bummer.
Well, nothing takes the edge of a work week like ganking fools online, which is what I'm off to do. Perhaps some Battlefield 2, maybe a little CS:Source, or even some Day of Defeat:Source. This of course will be after Battlestar Galactica. I have my priorities.
I'll leave you all with this little gem.
