Shared on Sun, 10/22/2006 - 19:48First - I would like to share the exclusive-looking EB games card from the Gears of War event. I didn't actually go last night, I got it today because I made a decision... a decision about Phantasy Star Universe...
For those of you with 360's, you know that a lot of cool demos have been made available lately. One of these was a beta for Phantasy Star Universe. A MMORPG with real-time fighting instead of turn based. I liked it... I liked it a lot... and I have started to show some questionable decisions regarding this game.
Since I have known Gears and COD3's release dates, I have had them on pre-order at EB. I am broke, but I managed to get $5 on COD3 and $45 on Gears. I did it by trading in some games - which is a total rip-off (go to game crazy if you must trade games, they are guaranteed the best trade-in value right now!).
Because of this new "need" to continue my adventures in the Phantsay Star Universe (and servers), I asked my nephew if it was OK to trade in the two 360 games he's had at my house since last January so I could have enough money to buy it. He said alright. So I basically gave up my pre-orders for Gears and COD3, plus traded in 2 games to get Phantasy Star. I hope it's worth it.
Don't worry about Gears and COD3... I've got $25 in Best Buy Bucks so far and continue to eat McD's every day. Thanks Monopoly!
Here's the back of the soundtrack. I'm thinking if I put the disc in my 360, maybe it will let me play the demo a little more before the game comes out. :-)
