Halloween and the irritated child

So it's Halloween and I've been treating myself to all kinds of scary flicks for a few days now. It's been a slice. But my son isn't so happy. He wanted to go shopping on the weekend for hair dye so he could dye(temporarily) his hair black for Halloween. So I ask him what costume he's getting that he needs to dye his hair. He wants to dress as an emo kid to make fun of all the emos at his school. Umm, why not just get a wig? Looks too fake. Check all the hair colouring and spray-ons. One thing they all have in common: washes out after 5-8 shampooings AND (this is the important part) not recommended for use on light coloured hair. Now if you glance over to my first couple of blog entries you will notice that he has light red hair. Now my ex had already phoned one of the help lines printed on one of the hair dye boxes to get more info on why not light hair and they told her "it can permanently stain the hair" . So this means that to get the colour out he would have to either let it grow out or get his hair all cut off. Pretty much have to get it buzzed right down to ground zero. So sorry but no. Plus he is to get an academic award at a ceremony at the high school the very next night. So double no. I'm sure he'll get over it.

Now on to more movies. One coming soon(not too soon unfortunately)  to a theatre near you, another remake. Looks pretty good. I hope so because I was kinda dissapointed in the original.
