I am an avid reader, when I am in a reading mood I can read 400 pages in under 2 hours, sometimes even quicker if I enjoy the writing. This is one of those great books

Tonight I was able to read Anderson Cooper's - Dispatches from the Edge possibly one of the best books I have read that is autobiographical at least for some time.

It is a book that jumps  between different subjects and eras, back and forth several times, which at first I did not enjoy, but I saw the brilliance in the writing. It isnt a book like he is letting you read about him, it is like he is telling you in person his thoughts. He has seen so much and done so much but really suffered some as well.

Pick the book up if respect him. He is the only reporter in the world I do respect. Even tho he is part of the endless media machine, he is different. His CNN show Anderson 360 is a great show to watch as well. I really liked it when during the Katrina fiasco he rudely, but rightfully so, interrupted the senator or something of LA or Miss and asked her why are politicians slapping each other on the back when there are bodies everywhere.. she could not answer.
